THE BUNNY IS COMING

March 8, 2000, Flint, Mich.- Spring has sprung at Genesee Valley Center in preparation for the annual visit of the Easter Bunny who is hopping his way to center court on Friday. March 31.

Local children are invited to visit the Honey Bunny Trail, a special décor created by Bronner´s Christmas Store in Frankenmuth. Visitors can wander amidst giant multi-colored flowers, eyerolling majestic trees and oversized decorated eggs, all leading down the path to the fuzzy Bunny himself. Photos can capture the special moment or children can just visit. Everyone receives a free activity book.

Genesee Valley Center will also be offering children a chance to win a stocking full of seasonal goodies. Children up to age 12 can register at the customer service information desk. Three stockings will be given away in a drawing on Saturday, April 22 at noon. Entries can be mailed to Genesee Valley Center at G 3341 S. Linden Road, Flint, MI 48507. On plain paper, write down the child´s name, age, address and phone number. The entry will be included in the drawing.

Genesee Valley Center, located on the corner of Miller and Linden roads in Flint Township, is the largest regional shopping center in Genesee County. The Center features specialty stores such as The Disney Store, Gymboree, 100% Girls, Pearl Vision and The Buckle, to name a few. The five department stores are Hudson´s, JC Penney, Mervyn´s, Montgomery Ward and Sears.
