Public can Interact with Local Law Enforcement for ‘Law Days’ at
Genesee Valley Center

Flint—May 5, 2003—Genesee Valley Center will host local law enforcement agencies Thursday through Saturday, May 8-10. Numerous agencies will have booths throughout the center. The public is welcome to visit with the officers during center hours, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

 

‘Law Days’ is a national observance to encourage the public to interact with local law enforcement employees in a positive setting. Many interesting displays will be involved in this year’s ‘Law Days’ including the Flint Township motorcycle cruisers, K-9 units and Safe ‘n Sound child registering program sponsored by Channel 12 will be held in center court on Saturday and Sunday.

 

Within these three days, the public will be able to talk one on one to the different departments and also experience demonstrations with the K-9 units and other areas within the law enforcement duties. The entire family will enjoy coming out to ‘Law Days’ to meet the individuals who help protect the community.
