CODE OF CONDUCT
Genesee Valley Center is private property. In order to provide a safe, secure and pleasant environment, Genesee Valley Center requests your cooperation in complying with the following "rules of conduct" to be followed by all patrons.
1. Genesee Valley Center is for shopping. Treat others as you like to be treated. Appropriate behavior does not include fighting, harassment, offending others or provoking confrontations or disruptive conduct of any nature.
2. Act responsibly. Please refrain from shouting, making loud noises or using indecent language. Please use headphones when listening to music other than what the Mall provides. Please limit the time on public telephones as they are for use by all patrons.
3. Allow others to shop safely and comfortably. Please do not block access to store entrances, Mall entrances, corridor or parking areas. Please walk; don't run, skate or skate board. Please use our benches and chairs for sitting. Please refrain from placing feet on planter or benches. Animals and/or pets are not allowed in the Mall. WEAPONS OF ANY TYPE ARE NOT PERMITTED ON MALL PROPERTY.
4. Observe all Federal, State and Local Laws. Use of alcoholic beverages is restricted to designated areas. Please refrain from defacing or damaging our property. During regular school hours, unaccompanied minor will be asked to leave the Mall.
5. Please dress appropriately and observe all health codes and local laws. Please refrain from wearing apparel that is likely to provoke a disturbance or involve other is open conflict. Wearing jewelry which may be use as a weapon, i.e., spikes. Smoking is prohibited.
6. Please visit the Mall Office to request permission to take photos, videotapes or make audio tapes of or on Mall property or store fronts. Without prior, written permission from Mall Management, no such activity is permitted.
7. Distribution of literature, special promotions or using the property for any purpose other than shopping is prohibited without prior written permission from the Mall. Please see the Mall Management for more information.
8. When the Mall and stores are closed, please leave. Please do not park or loiter on the property after closing. Public access prior to 8:00 AM is prohibited. Unauthorized vehicles parked overnight may be towed.
9. Loitering or congregating in groups in excess of three (3) person without a parent or legal guardian is prohibited.
10. Individuals who are using the mall solely for the activity of congregating, evidencing no shopping behavior and with lack of regard to other shoppers, will be asked to leave the Center.
11. All children ages 6-17 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian when school is in session. Additionally, the Center reserves the right to ask children unaccompanied by a parent or legal guardian to leave the Center when they exhibit behavior such as: collecting or standing in crowds, tending to obstruct the free and uninterrupted passage of public, or for any illegal or mischievous purpose; loitering, individually or in groups, evidencing no legitimate shopping behavior.
Genesee Valley Center management reserves the right to make changes or additions to our rules at any time in the publication of new rules.
